CAVEGIRL Plans Her Return to TV
Laura Ainsworth, above, is Cavegirl. Nicola Posener will play Big Sis
With the movie version of Cavegirl slated for production later this year in South Africa, we are now developing the TV series which we hope will return to TV screens next year.
The original TV series was a hit on BBC1 and CBBC. While it was aimed at 8 - 12 year olds, the new TV series is for grown-up teenagers. It's more brutal and real but with the inimitable comical Daniel Peacock style of dialogue and characters.
New storylines and scripts are currently being written and we are filming a 'teaser' in the New Forest and south coast in July.
The big news is our new cast.
Brilliant young actresses Laura Ainsworth #just_LKA and Nicola Posener are our new stars, playing Cavegirl and her rival Big Sis. Lucinda Rhodes who played Big Sis in the original series, will play Mum.
The new Cavegirl will have incredible fight choreography from actress/ martial arts / fight co-ordinator, Zara Phythian #zaraphythian who will play Cavegirl's nemesis, for now, named Warrior Girl
